Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) – Female Candidates

• Applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Candidates appearing in the 10+2 examination in 2023 can apply, but they must submit their certificates/marks sheet from the respective boards to the Principal, NINE, 10 days before the entrance examination.
• Age limit: Candidates should be between 17 to 25 years old as of 1st September 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic)

1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination.
2. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
3. Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife from a recognized institute and registered with the respective State Nursing Council approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
4. Age limit: Candidates should not exceed 45 years as of 1st September 2023.

Eligibility Criteria For In-Service Candidates

• In-service candidates of PGIMER, Chandigarh must seek a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective establishments before filling their online applications.
• The online application form will be treated as an advance copy, and the final application should be submitted to the Principal, NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh, within one month of the last closing date of the application form.

Eligibility Criteria For Foreign Nationals

• Foreign nationals should fill the prescribed application form online.
• Applications, along with necessary documents, should be routed through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
• Foreign nationals must obtain an eligibility certificate from the Registrar, PGIMER, Chandigarh, and clearance regarding professional qualifications from the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.

PGIMER B.Sc.Nursing 2023 Reservation of Seats

• PGIMER provides reservation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per government instructions.
• All candidates, irrespective of category, may be considered against unreserved vacancies if they fulfill the parameters for unreserved candidates.
• Five percent of seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) based on merit in the Entrance Test.
