Pre-Requisite & Documents Required

• Valid Email ID and Mobile Number for communication.
• Scanned copy of recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
• Personal details including name, date of birth, gender, etc.
• Contact details, including address, phone number, and email ID.
• Educational information such as 10th and 12th standard details.
• Category certificate (if applicable).
• Caste Validity Certificate (if applicable).
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable).

How to Apply Online for MHT CET 2024 Application Form: Step by Step Guide

Step 1: New Registration (1st time user)

• Open your internet browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer version 9 or higher).
• Type the following URL in the address bar: https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ and press Enter.
• On the homepage, click on the “New Registration” button.
• Read the prerequisites for the MHT-CET-2023 exam and click on the “I Accept and Proceed” button.

Step 2: Personal Details

• Fill in your Full Name (as printed on SSC/HSC Mark sheet), Father’s Name (First Name Only), Mother’s Name (First Name Only), Gender, Date of Birth, Religion, Region, Mother Tongue, Annual Family Income (Optional), Nationality, etc.
• Enter your Permanent Address and Address for correspondence.
• If both addresses are the same, you can copy the personal address by checking the box.
• Enter your mobile number and email address (Note: Use only one mobile number and email ID for one application form).
• Create a password following the instructions given on the screen.
• Click on the “Save and Proceed” button.

Step 3: OTP Verification

• State CET Cell will send a One Time Password (OTP) to your registered mobile number and email ID.
• Enter the OTP received and click on the “Verify OTP” button.

Step 4: Application Number

• After OTP verification, you will be given an Application Number generated by the system.
• Click on the “Proceed to complete application form” button.
• Step 5: Forgot Application Number
• If you have forgotten your Application Number, click on the “I Can’t Access My Account” on the login screen.
• Select “I forgot my Application No.” and click on “Continue.”
• Enter your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth.
• Click on the “Submit” button to retrieve your Application Number.

Step 6: Forgot Password

• If you have forgotten your application password, click on the “I Can’t Access My Account” on the login screen.
• Select “I forgot my Password” and click on “Continue.”
• Enter your Application No. and Date of Birth.
• Click on “Submit” and you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
• Enter and verify the OTP.
• Create a new password following the given instructions.
• Click on the “RESET PASSWORD” button.

Step 7: Sign in (Registered Candidates/Already registered)

• Enter your Application Number and password on the login screen.
• Click on the “Sign In” button.

Step 8: Domicile and Category Details

• Click on the “Incomplete” tab to complete Step 2.
• Provide your Domicile Details and select the category you belong to (Open, Economically Weaker Section, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Destitute Castes/Nomadic Tribes).
• Fill in the required information based on your category, such as Caste Certificate details, Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, Disability status, etc.
• Click on the “Save and proceed” button.

Step 9: Qualification Details

• Select whether you have passed SSC or Equivalent Exam from India.
• Fill in the details of your SSC/Equivalent Exam, including Board, Passing Year, Percentage, State, District, and School Name.
• If applicable, provide information about your HSC/Equivalent Exam, including Board, Passing Year, Percentage, State, District, and School Name.
• Select the subjects you have studied in HSC/Equivalent Exam.
• If you have passed a Diploma course, select “Yes” and provide the details.
• If you have appeared for MHT-CET in previous years, select the relevant option and enter the details.
• Click on the “Save and proceed” button.

Step 10: Exam Center Preference

• Select your preferred exam center from the list of available options.
• You can select up to 4 exam centers in the order of your preference.
• Click on the “Save and proceed” button.

Step 11: Uploading Photograph and Signature

• Upload your recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specified format and size.
• Click on the “Save and proceed” button.

Step 12: Preview Application Form

• Review all the details entered in the application form.
• If you find any errors or want to make changes, click on the respective sections to edit the information.
• Once you have verified all the details, click on the “Submit” button.

Step 13: Payment of Application Fee

• After submitting the application form, you will be redirected to the payment page.
• Choose the payment method (online or offline) and proceed to make the payment as per the instructions provided.

Step 14: Print Application Form
