How to Apply Online for MHT CET 2024 Application Form: Step by Step Guide

Step 1: New Registration (1st time user)

  • Enter your mobile number and email address (Note: Use only one mobile number and email ID for one application form).
  • Create a password following the instructions given on the screen.
  • Click on the “Save and Proceed” button.

Step 3: OTP Verification

  • State CET Cell will send a One Time Password (OTP) to your registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Enter the OTP received and click on the “Verify OTP” button.

Step 4: Application Number

  • After OTP verification, you will be given an Application Number generated by the system.
  • Click on the “Proceed to complete application form” button.
  • Step 5: Forgot Application Number
  • If you have forgotten your Application Number, click on the “I Can’t Access My Account” on the login screen.
  • Select “I forgot my Application No.” and click on “Continue.”
  • Enter your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth.
  • Click on the “Submit” button to retrieve your Application Number.

Step 6: Forgot Password

  • If you have forgotten your application password, click on the “I Can’t Access My Account” on the login screen.
  • Select “I forgot my Password” and click on “Continue.”
  • Enter your Application No. and Date of Birth.
  • Click on “Submit” and you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter and verify the OTP.
  • Create a new password following the given instructions.
  • Click on the “RESET PASSWORD” button.

Step 7: Sign in (Registered Candidates/Already registered)

  • Enter your Application Number and password on the login screen.
  • Click on the “Sign In” button.

Step 8: Domicile and Category Details

  • Click on the “Incomplete” tab to complete Step 2.
  • Provide your Domicile Details and select the category you belong to (Open, Economically Weaker Section, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Destitute Castes/Nomadic Tribes).
  • Fill in the required information based on your category, such as Caste Certificate details, Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, Disability status, etc.
  • Click on the “Save and proceed” button.

Step 9: Qualification Details

  • Select whether you have passed SSC or Equivalent Exam from India.
  • Fill in the details of your SSC/Equivalent Exam, including Board, Passing Year, Percentage, State, District, and School Name.
