FMGE 2023 Exam Pattern
- The exam consists of one paper with a total of 300 multiple-choice questions.
- Each question will have four response options presented in English.
- Candidates are required to select the correct/best response from the given options.
- The paper is divided into two parts, with each part containing 150 questions.
- Time allocation for each part is 150 minutes, making the total exam duration 5 hours.
- There is a scheduled break between Part-I and Part-II to provide candidates with some relaxation time.
Schedule for FMGE 2023
- Part-I: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
- Part-II: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
A break is scheduled between the two parts to provide candidates with some relaxation time.
FMGE 2023 Marking Scheme
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the FMGE exam.
- Passing Criteria: To qualify, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 in the examination.
- Result Declaration: The results (Pass/Fail) for eligible candidates will be displayed on the NBEMS website. There is no provision for re-totaling/reevaluation.
Number of Attempts
Candidates can attempt the FMGE multiple times. However, once a candidate passes the FMGE, they will not be eligible to retake the exam. Any attempt to violate this clause will be considered void and canceled.
