AEEE 2024 Counselling Process

The AEEE 2024 Counselling Process is an important step for students seeking admission to BTech programs at Amrita University. Expected to begin in the 3rd Week of May 2024, after the announcement of the AEEE 2024 Results.

The counselling process helps determine the seat allocation based on the marks obtained in the AEEE 2024 entrance exam. This process consists of three stages and is open to eligible candidates who have successfully cleared the AEEE 2024 exam.

Additionally, those with a valid JEE Main 2024 score are also eligible for admission. The counselling registration is expected to close in the first week of June 2024.

To participate, candidates need to download and print their AEEE 2024 counselling letter and rank card from the official website, amrita.edu.

It is crucial to note that 70% of the seat allotment is through AEEE 2024, while 30% is through JEE Main 2024. The shortlisting for counselling is primarily based on the candidates’ ranking and performance in the written exam.

AEEE 2024 Counselling Process – Stage by Stage Guide

AEEE 2024 Counselling Process consist of three stages. Let’s discuss it stages one by one.

Stage 1: AEEE 2024 Counselling Registration

• The first stage of the counselling process requires candidates to visit the official website, amrita.edu, to download the AEEE 2024 counselling call letter.
• After entering the AEEE 2024 registration number and date of birth as per the AEEE 2024 admit card, candidates can log in to the counselling portal.
• Upon successful login, the AEEE 2024 Counselling Call Letter will be displayed on the screen, which must be downloaded for future reference throughout the admission process. 

Notes:

• However, it is essential to note that successful registration does not guarantee admission.
• If seat allotment is not possible due to unavailability, the counselling fee will be refunded.

Stage 2:  AEEE 2024 Seat Allotment

• The seat allotment process occurs based on the AEEE 2024 rank/score and the availability of seats in their preferred courses.
• The actual seat allotment takes place two days after the counselling registration ends.
• Before the final allotment, a trial allotment is conducted.
• To ensure eligibility, candidates must undergo document verification, where they need to present original documents such as :
  • Provisional seat allotment letter
  • Seat acceptance letter
  • 10th and 12th class mark sheets
  • AEEE 2024 admit card (signed by the invigilator) or JEE Main 2024 scorecard
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Transfer certificate and certificate from their previous institution where they studied Class 12.

Important Point to Remember:

• It is important to remember that photocopies are not accepted as proof
• If the caste certificate is in a language other than English, it must be certified/attached by a Notary Public.
• Candidates who have not received their Transfer Certificate yet must submit a letter from their Principal stating the name of the Higher Secondary School they attended.

Stage 3: AEEE 2024 Seat Acceptance

• Upon accepting a seat and paying the tuition fee, candidates must submit the original documents during the document verification process.
• Failure to submit the original certificates will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat, and the refunded amount will be deducted by processing charges.
• After the payment, candidates can download the Provisional Seat Allotment Order.
• If there are still vacant seats, additional allotment stages are conducted, including options for final allotment, branch sliding, and waiting list.
• Candidates can make use of the sliding option by paying the necessary fees to change their preference to a higher choice.
• After making the payment, they must upload their Class 12 marks certificate/statement, transfer certificate, and community certificate (if applicable for SC/ST category).
• The original copies of the uploaded documents will be required during document verification at the assigned reporting center and date.
• Lastly, the final confirmation of the seat involves the document verification process, which candidates must attend along with their parent or guardian.

AEEE 2024 Admission Withdrawal

Candidates have the option to withdraw their admission until the last date of admissions. The refund policies for withdrawals adhere to government rules. Once a candidate withdraws their admission, they will not be considered for further seat allocation.
